EGF's campaign, which combines environmental and social causes, challenges people to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. The gesture is simple: just recycle.
EGF challenges charities to participate in the "Tons of Help" campaign so that, in 2024, recycling continues to help those who need it most, and they can transform their recycling into cash prizes.
Institutions wishing to participate must register and, throughout the year, deliver recyclable material to EGF dealerships in each geographic area for processing. In the end, the tons that each non-profit organization delivers for recycling will result in a cash prize for them and their causes.
The community is also invited to help, as when visiting an EGF company, they can choose to leave their recyclable materials in the containers of each participating non-profit organization.
This campaign presents a renewed image in 2024, developed by the agency Tux & Gill, which translates the spirit of this initiative and appeals to appropriate environmental behaviors.
Emídio Pinheiro, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EGF, highlights that “The contribution of the Tons of Help campaign to the participating institutions is very significant; we are very pleased with the goals we are achieving year after year. Working with the communities where EGF operates is important; all our campaigns have a common link: we work for and with citizens.”
In 2023, 304 institutions participated, which together collected 4,830 tons of packaging, resulting in R$ 657,261 in prizes awarded.
