Every year we promote five environmental campaigns that focus on diversifying environmental education and communication for diverse audiences.

The campaigns – Ecovalor, Toneladas de Ajuda, EcoEventos, EcoPraias and Mercado a Reciclar – allow us to reach various audiences and challenge citizens to recycle everything, always and everywhere. In all of them, it is possible to quantify the recycled packaging and measure results.

EGF's environmental education campaigns break records
In total, 13,700 tons of packaging were collected across the five harvests

Ecovalor, Toneladas de Ajuda, EcoEventos, EcoPraias and Mercado a Reciclar. In 2023, €883,358 was allocated for social assistance.

The communication and environmental education campaigns promoted by EGF in 2023 once again reached record levels in the tons of packaging collected, with a 49% increase in the quantity of recyclable materials and a 39% increase in the number of people impacted compared to the previous year, reaching the highest amount of recyclable material ever.

Ecovalor Program “Recicla e Ganha”
Valorlis awards schools with the best environmental performance. Valorlis awarded the Lugar dos Príncipes Nursery and Kindergarten for its excellent performance in the Ecovalor Program. During the award ceremony, the institution was also presented with a staged reading of the story "Piu and the Planet" by writer and illustrator Tânia Bailão Lopes, which delighted the children with its performance about environmental awareness and care for the planet.
